Back to school -Art journal

Hi friends ,

Today I am back with my art journal page !! Today I have played with all basic elements of art journaling  and my theme is Back to school !!

Here I have used my daughter’s picture of her first day of school of second day!!

Here I must have to mention these page is totally inspired by my dear friend Marta !! I have used lots of layering with papers, stencil and washi tape !! then I have added some extra interest by stamping .

I made a pocket with a old denim and gave a a bit rustic look by painted the buttons with rustic paints !! and then I have drawn some pencils and written the subjects name on the pencils.

I have written her school name also !!

Orchids-Layout

Hi Friends,

Today I am here to presenting my layout on subject change !! Here I have used picture of Orchids , the change of color in Orchids has inspired me for this layout !! The vibrant color combination of teal and purple is just so awesome I couldn’t resists myself!!

 

Here I have used 49 and Markets paper . 2 Crafty Chipboard, prima flowers and lindy’s magical powder !!

I have used famous quote of Buddha :

‘”If we could see the miracle of a single flower clearly, our whole life would change.”

Spooky Art journal

Hi,

Today I have created a spooky journal page !! Truly speaking I am not very fond of spooky things ( rather a bit scared ) but I took it as a challenge to myself and tried my best to capture the feeling.

I love to play with texture and here I have done lots of texturing with tissue papers,threads,stencil  and some cheese cloth !!

Thank you GOD-Art Journal

Hi,

Today I have created my art journal on the subject “Thank you “. We always ask something in our prayers and often forgot to say to thank you for what we have in our life. I want to thank you God for what I have today ..It isn’t that I have everything what I wanted in my life …but I have chosen to see my life beyond that .

Here I made the first layer of texture with old book pages, then I have added some texture with texture paste and stencil. I wanted to add some more interest so I have added Mini Art stones ( one of my favorite ) .

I have started to add color with my favorite Lindy’s stamp gang color spray. I have applied some crackle paste on a small wooden frame then applied metallic color on it. I have fussy cut the picture and glue in on my page.

The crackle paste and metallic color is giving a vintage look to the page.

Ballerina Girl -Art Journal

Hi,

Today I have created an art journal page with my on shades of purple , and truly speaking I am with love with this page!!! I love to live in the moments, to me nothing is forever. So I want to enjoy every little thing of life . Here also I have used one of my favorite quote “Life isn’t about waiting for the storm to pass..it’s learning to dance in the rain” .

I made a ballerina girl as my focal point.

Here I have used Mica flakes with gel medium to make the texture. 

To give the real look of ballet I made some Shoe Ribbon knot in the page ( I found it really challenging to make the proper ribbon knot 🙂  )

Fall Layout

Hi ,

Today I have created a fall layout !! I was in Stowe,Vermont  in this Fall season . And I am really love with fall colors.It was a trip I really want to cherish about. I am really not very much comfortable with layouts yet, but I tried best to make it out.

Change -Art Journal

Hi ,

Today I am presenting my art journal about Change . “Nothing is permanent in life except changes” and I am a true believer of this saying . Here I have used one of my favorite quote “If nothing ever  changed, there’d be no butterflies”

 

 

Here I have worked with lots of embossing powder , art stones and different shades of blue ,teal  from Lindy’s Stamp Gang.

To give the shadow effect I have embossed the butterflies with embossing powder. I have used Dusty Attic chipboard.

Fall Leaves -Art Journal

Hi,

Today I am here with my fall art journal page I just created today. I have just returned from Vermont trip. The trip was just awesome . The colors were so vibrant and so bright I am just spellbound. I have collected some dry maple leaves from there, which I have used in my journal.

As you can see , I have used dried maple leaves for texture , here I have face a great challenge to stick the leaves in my page but big thanks to 3D matte gel 🙂

Then I have added some extra texture with stencil and some art stones . Here I have used Lindy’s spray Autumn leaves collection to color my page. At last I have given some golden touch at there and there.

I have used  Dusty Attic Chipboard and Tim Holtz metal embellishment.

Winter Forest /Canvas

Hi,

Today is my work is on winter forest. I personally love winter very very much . I just love snow. It is like god is kissing you and filling every wounds by his own kindness.

To portray the subject I have used some dry leaf and dry marigold tree stem . And these really give my artwork a frozen and rustic look.

When I was working on this project , I saw many quotes about winter but I also saw most of the people in not very much happy with this frozen winter. But I think we should be thankful to god for each and every little thing and for each moment. We should be grateful to God for everything we are having in our daily life.

For creating the texture I have used Heavy Gesso,Dry leaf/stem ,Art stones ,3D Matte medium, Crackle Paste ,cheese cloth and most importantly Lindy’s Stamp Gang color spray.

Sparkle-Art Journal (B/W)

Hi ,

This is my first work on black and white. I am very fond of colors and I really scared of black and white . But here I have worked on totally out my comfort zone. And as my favorite teacher Marta says ‘ Love the process ‘,really I loved the process.

Here I have used normal glitter with gel matte medium to create the texture. I have used lots of laces. I have used some chipboard and butterfly as embellishments . And my favorite Lindy’s Spray.
